Hammond Vindicator

The Hammond Vindicator, like many of its kind, chronicles the day-to-day events of the area. George Campbell, publisher, has a column called "The Stroller" which is named for his habit of strolling Hammond to see people and observe life. One of his daily stops is for coffee at the Casa de Fresa. Mr Campbell's observations become part of his column. The Vindicator concerns itself with Hammond and its citizens. It is where you would find who went to Baton Rouge to visit a new grandchild, or what Hammond sons and daughters are home visiting from college. Regional and national events appear here only if they involve Hammond or one of her people.
